Overview
The Ukraine Family Scheme allows Ukrainian nationals and their family members to come to or stay in the UK if they have family members here. This is for Ukrainians who were residing in Ukraine before 1 January 2022.

Who can apply
You can apply if you are a Ukrainian national and have a family member in the UK who is either a British citizen, settled in the UK, or holds protection status.
British citizen
Including those with British Overseas Territories citizenship or British National (Overseas) status.
Settled in the UK
With indefinite leave to remain or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme.
Refugee or humanitarian protection status
Granted in the UK.
Eligible family relationships
Immediate family
Spouse or civil partner, unmarried partner in a relationship of 2 years or more, a child under 18, or a parent if you are under 18.
Extended family
Parent or grandparent, adult child or grandchild, sibling, or aunt, uncle, niece, nephew and cousin.

Important information
Before you apply
- You must have been residing in Ukraine immediately before 1 January 2022
- There is no fee for this visa application
- You do not need to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge
- You can apply from inside or outside the UK
