Wesbridge Associates has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, servitude and human trafficking. As an IAA regulated UK immigration practice, we are conscious that vulnerable migrants can be targets for exploitation, and we take our responsibility to safeguard clients, colleagues and supply-chain partners seriously.

We expect the same standards from every contractor, supplier and partner we engage with, and we will not knowingly support or do business with any organisation involved in slavery or human trafficking.

Wesbridge Associates is a UK immigration advisory firm based in London, providing visa, sponsor licence, settlement and appeals services to individuals and businesses. Our supply chain is limited and consists principally of professional service providers (translators, counsel, IT and software vendors, payment processors and office service providers), most of whom are UK or EU based.

We consider the overall risk of modern slavery within our own operations to be low because our workforce is small, UK-based, and engaged on contracts that comply with UK employment law. In our advisory work we remain alert to indicators of trafficking, debt bondage and labour exploitation that may present through clients or prospective sponsors, and we follow safeguarding procedures where concerns arise.

We recognise that risk can be higher in extended supply chains, and we take this into account when choosing and reviewing suppliers.

• Right to Work checks for all staff and contractors in line with UK Home Office requirements.
• Whistleblowing arrangements that allow staff and third parties to raise concerns confidentially via our Ethics & Whistleblower channel.
• Safeguarding awareness for advisers handling cases involving potentially vulnerable individuals.
• Supplier due diligence appropriate to the value and risk profile of the engagement.
• Compliance with our regulatory obligations under the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) Code of Standards.
